Using the memberships module you can now accept membership payments that are set to auto-renew after the membership period expires. This is available to those using Stripe as a payment service provider.
We have updated the algorithm that measures how your alumni are engaging with your facebook page. Earlier this was effective only for those who had signed up with facebook on the alumni platform. Now, this is true for all records. The facebook engagement activity measured by Almabase has increased 4x as a result of this.
Updated an existing logical issue where fields storing multiple values ( like Education) would search using an OR filter instead of an AND on directory e.g. : Class of 1995 AND Electric Engineering instead of OR
You can now upload more than just alumni data on Almabase. (Parents, Business Partners, Local Organizations, etc.) and have them 'unlisted' on the directory, but still manage them through Data Studio to create email campaigns and engagement reports for those records.
You can now add/remove/edit the roles offered to your users to pick from when they sign up. You can also create roles that are only present internally on Data Studio - but not on the sign-up form. e.g. "Parent", "Business Partner"
For non-logged in users, the guest list on events will now be visible only if “Allow non-users to register” is checked when creating the event.
You can now replace the standard 'Purchase Tickets' or 'RSVP' button text on your event to reflect your event registration type better.
Keep an eye out for the red 'F' tag that indicated failed payments on the Check-in page. This should help you filter out guests that had multiple registration attempts with both failed and successful payments.
You can now add members to affinity groups through data studio. Just like you would add records to email groups.
Even if Data Studio filters return zero records, you can create an affinity group or email group. For example, even if you don't have a lot of location data, you can still create a group with, city=Boston,MA - and have it populate when you start getting location data as people sign up.
Existing affinity groups can now be deleted from the admin dashboard.
The description on groups has a rich text editor now and the character limit has been removed. This allows group admins more flexibility with what they choose to mention in the description.
This indicates where replies will land in case the an email is sent. This was there earlier on the compose page - it is now available on the post-send analytics of that email too
Replace the default invitation with one customized with language that your constituents can relate to.
Additional optional and UX enhancements on the Giving platform
The notification email that goes out when someone purchases (or upgrades to) a new membership level, can now be re-sent manually from the admin panel.
Added a confirmation whenever a checkbox is unchecked on the RE NXT column during manual push to RE NXT. This confirmation informs the user that if the box is unchecked, the data will be deleted on RE during sync.
All users logged in with facebook were forcefully logged out by us because of a security breach on facebook's end.
